A downloadable game for Windows

Welcome to Misscount! Where every shot (and every miss) counts!

This is a very short demo where you shoot a certain amount of targets within the given time limit. However, each shot missed increases the amount of targets you have to destroy to win. Can you shoot all targets within the time limit? If so, I recommend challenging yourself to improve your time or beating the game by shooting the least amount of targets and not missing a single shot.

This game was made in Unreal Engine as a submission to Trijam 317, where the concept of the jam is to make an entire game within only 3 hours and the theme of the jam was 'Missed Opportunity.' I made this game with the hopes of exploring and tinkering with Unreal Engine and see what the engine was capable of.

This game was made thanks to Unreal Sensei on youtube. Most of the assets came from their intro tutorial to Unreal Engine 5.

The environment was a free download called 'Underground Sci-Fi' on Epic Games' Fab website.

This game compromises mostly of free assets.

Lastly, the player collisions are a little bit weird after trying to move through the destroyed target fragments.

This game is pretty large. Download and extract the zip file to run the executable.

You may need pretty powerful hardware to run this game (My 3060 was fighting to get to 60 fps for reference)
